Timothy Christopher Otis, 59, of Anderson passed away on July 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his wife and children.
Tim was born August 29, 1964, the son of Reginal Erlon and Mary Lou (Owens) Otis.
Tim was set to retire on his 60th birthday after proudly serving 10 years in the United States Air Force and 21 years of government services at DFAS, 31 years of dedicated service.
Tim enjoyed remote control racing; loved fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Tim is survived by his wife, Paula Jean and his children, Leroy (Kimberly) Otis of Tennessee, Candace (Miguel) Keels of South Carolina, Cody (Jordon) Webster of Iowa, Chelsea (Dustin) Elliott of Anderson, Taylor Otis of Iowa, Reba Otis of Anderson; 19 beautiful grandchildren; one great grandson; brother, Joseph (Linda) Otis and sister, Tammy (Bill) Barnett; and many very special nieces and nephews; so many friends that are family and Tim loved everyone as family so very much.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Chaplain Ken Cavanagh officiating with military rites by the Daleville American Legion.
Visitation will be Tuesday two hours prior to the service.
