SHALIMAR, FL - Lee Stillman Prescott, 82, of Shalimar, FL, formerly Webster, Mass., passed away peacefully, May 13th at Destin Fort Walton Beach Hospital, Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Lee was a 1960 graduate of Bartlett High School, Webster, Mass. After high school Lee enlisted in the US Air Force and was stationed in Maine and California. Upon discharge from military service Lee attended Franklin Institute of Boston, Mass. where he received a degree in Engineering. Lee worked at different engineering firms before starting his own Automotive and Towing Business in Dudley and Webster, Mass.
Lee was an avid race fan, enjoying NASCAR and Formula 1 racing as well as the local race scene at Thompson International Raceway in Thompson, CT, where he sponsored a race car and enjoyed many friendships from his racing adventures.
Lee is survived by his brother Samuel Prescott (Beverly) of Townsend, TN, his children’s mother, Christine Lyon, of Webster, MA, his sons Christopher Prescott (Kimberly) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Keith Prescott (Elizabeth) of Leonardtown, MD, Jeffrey Prescott of Salem, NH, his step-daughter DreeAnn Cellemme of Birmingham, AL and six grandchildren, Mitchell, Ryan, Hannah, Sarah, Seth and John.
Lee was predeceased by his parents John Palmer Prescott and Lara Prescott of Webster, MA, his half-brother Sheldon Prescott of Durham, NH, and his wife Dale Cellemme Prescott of Webster, MA.
Graveside services at Mount Zion Cemetery in Webster, MA are scheduled for Noon on Monday, August 12th, 2024 with full military honors.
