Eileen (Cronin) Spear, 82, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Medway Country Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late, David A. Spear, Sr.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on January 31, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Michael P. and Elizabeth (McGuigan) Cronin. She is the loving mother of David A. Spear, Jr. and his partner Kate Galvin of Cranston, RI, and Carrie May Spear of Hopedale, MA. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Emily, Jack and his wife Caitlin, and Brad Spear. Her late daughter-in-law, Kristen (Eads) Spear.
She is the sister of Elizabeth (Cronin) Emery and her late husband Mickey of Bellingham, Edward Cronin and his wife, Joyce of Whitinsville, Patrica Cronin of Arizona, and her late brother Michael Cronin. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
Eileen was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting, was a member of Yankee Quilters of Franklin, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 7th at 9:00 AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St, Bellingham. The burial will be private.
