Lorraine E. (Heigham) Kane, 70, of East Bridgewater, MA, passed away on July 23, 2024, surrounded by loving family, due to complications with pneumonia.
Born in Boston, Lorraine (Rain) was the second daughter of the late William (Bill) and Margaret (Betty) Heigham. She lived her early years in Brockton prior to the family moving to the Elmwood section of East Bridgewater. She graduated from East Bridgewater High School and married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Kane. They were married for 50 years and raised their family in East Bridgewater.
Rain was the beloved wife of Bob, devoted mother to Kerri (Kane) Trumbull, and Kristi (Kane) Wise, and cherished grandmother to Ally Trumbull, Emmy Trumbull, Jimmy Trumbull and Charlotte Wise.
Lorraine’s proudest accomplishment was her family, but she also enjoyed traveling, family camping trips, exploring National Parks, time at the lake in Plymouth, the beach, flower gardening, reading, visiting lighthouses, and her dogs.
Lorraine also leaves behind her son-in-law, Brett Trumbull, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara (Heigham) Smith and Richard Smith of East Bridgewater.
Private services will be held at later date.
