Moira Keniston, 80, passed away peacefully on July 26th surrounded by family. She grew up in Medford, where she lived for over 30 years before settling in Tewksbury. Moira was predeceased by her sister, Sheila Hines, and her son-in-law, James Martorana. She was a hardworking, strong independent woman who was extremely sweet and kind. Moira loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, shopping, and getting manicures and pedicures. She was a wonderful Mom who was there for every life event in her children’s and grandchild’s lives. Moira will be deeply missed, and life will not be the same without her.
Moira is survived by her children: Fred Keniston Jr. and his partner, Carolyn Taylor, Paige and Thomas Durant, Sheri and Thomas Ritchie, Suzanne Martorana and her partner, Robert McGuire, and Todd Keniston. She is survived by her nieces, Colleen Cunningham and Louise Woodworth, who she loved and treated like daughters. Moira was also survived by her grandchildren, Chelsea and Kevin Turcotte, Breanne and Andrew Bjorkman, Samantha and Jake Durant, Jayce and Braydon Martorana, Lucas and Liam Keniston, and her great grandchildren, Indie Bjorkman and Fiona Turcotte.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit Moira’s family on Thursday, August 1st at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, from 4 through 8 PM. Interment will be private.
