John J. "Jack" Geary of Mission Hill, Roxbury, MA died on July 24, 2024. Jack was born in Boston, MA on September 23, 1947, to the late John F. Geary of Boston and Margaret (Gallagher) Geary of Brookline. Jack is survived by his two sons John Geary and Christopher Geary as well as four grandchildren, Declan, Colm, Nora, and Ronan Geary.
Jack was a 1965 graduate of Mission Hill High school. He went on to serve in the Coast Guard prior to beginning a lifelong career at the Boston Gas Company. Jack played for the Killilea Club and was an avid sports fan, particularly of baseball and football.
A Funeral Mass will be held in The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help “Mission Church” 1545 Tremont St., Mission Hill on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Private. For guestbook gormleyfuneral.com.
