Joan E. Morrison, 77, formerly of Woodland Dr., Londonderry, NH died Saturday July 27, 2024 at her Langdon Place residence in Nashua, NH. She was born in Winchester, MA on March 27, 1947, the daughter of the late Alcide and Antonette (Cardone) Blanchette. She was a resident of Londonderry for 42 years and was employed as a Dental Assistant and Office Manager for Andre Montminy, DMD. Joan was a dedicated wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a fierce friend. She enjoyed boating with her late husband, George, traveling with friends and cousins, taking art lessons, doting upon her pets and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Joan is survived by her three sons, George A. Morrison, Jr. of Salem, NH, Carl A. Morrison and his wife Leah of Manchester, NH, Brian R. Morrison and his wife Shara of Merrimack, NH; two grandchildren, Noah and Anna; two brothers, Thomas Blanchette and his wife Patricia of Woburn, MA and Robert Blanchette of Salem, NH; as well as several close cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family may call on Wednesday, July 31st from 5 – 8PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 1st at 10:30AM at St. Mark’s Church in Londonderry. The burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry.
