CENTER CONWAY- James “Jim” Ensor of Center Conway, NH was born on September 28,1974. He passed away on July 26, 2024 due to an aggressive form of cancer - cholangiocarcinoma.
Jim was born in Hagerstown Maryland to Teresa (Porter) and Lewis “Ed”Ensor, Jr. He spent his younger years growing up in Maryland before the family relocated to Maine.
Jim was outgoing and friendly. He never met a stranger. He was there for anyone in need and helped countless people however he could.
Jim worked for decades in the HVAC field where he made a large impact on numerous people’s lives. If the call came in that someone needed help it didn’t matter what the weather or problem was, he was there!
In 2021 Jim started working for SAU#9 in building maintenance. He again made fast friends and a big impact.
Jim had a knack for fixing just about anything. From repairing all manner of vehicles, lawnmowers or other small engine equipment, to plumbing, building and fabricating, he got it done. When other people said, “ that’s broken, buy a new one”. Jim could usually fix it, whatever “it” may have been.
He loved outdoor activities such as 4wheeling, boating, hunting and fishing. He passed the love of these activities on to his children.
Jim was an absolutely devoted father, husband, son, brother and friend. He had an immense group of friends that stuck together through thick and thin; getting them through life’s challenges and the occasional bout of mischief.
He will be dearly missed by an almost unmeasurable amount of people.
He is survived by his mother and father,
wife Stephanie Ensor; sons James and Jarrett Ensor; sister Emily Sinclair and her husband Stephen along with their children Logan, Lilyana and Mia; brother Andrew Ensor and his partner Amanda along with their children Josephine, Faegan and Kayleigh.
