Alan Richard Williams passed away in Richland, Washington on July 13, 2024, at the age of 70 after a lengthy illness. Alan was born on September 15, 1953, in Helena, Montana to Nellie L. (Periman) and Richard E. Williams.
Alan attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School, Helena Junior High, and Helena Senior High School graduating in 1972. Alan attended Carroll College graduating with a business degree in 1977.
Alan spent several years in the banking and mortgage business before becoming a site manager for Sun Pacific Energy in Washington State.
While living in Washington, he met the love of his life, Vicki Brunell. Alan and Vicki lived in Redmond, Washington before moving to Pasco, Washington. Alan was an avid supporter of the Boston Terrier Dog Rescue of which Vicki is also a passionate supporter. Alan enjoyed volunteering with Vicki for the Rescue. Together, they were able to help place and care for countless dogs in need.
In his younger years Alan was an enthusiastic and skilled alpine skier being a member of the ski patrol at Belmont Ski Area (today Great Divide Ski Area). Alan was active in the Jaycee's both in Fort Benton, Montana where he resided for several years and in the Tri-Cities area of Washington.
Alan grew up in an extended family of brothers, sisters, and cousins. He knew family and friends were important and always tried to be connected with them. He will be greatly missed.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, two aunts and an uncle.
He is survived by his partner, Vicki; brothers Alton (Kathie) Williams and Aaron Williams; sisters Arlene (Todd) Eliason and Alice (Scott) Anderson. Nieces and nephews; Marcus (Victoria) Eliason, Amy Eliason, Brooke Anderson, and Nick Anderson. Cousins; Denise Linjanen, Joyce Williams, Carla Williams, and Jan Williams. Vicki's sisters Susan (Dick) Goe and Debra (John) Baxter and nieces and nephews.
Services will take place Friday, August 9th at 11 am at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 1502 Shirley Road, Helena, Montana. Reception will follow in the church hall.
