GORHAM- William Earl Wray, age 71 passed away on July 25, 2024 at Maine Medical Center with complications from his meningioma brain tumor. He was born in Bangor, Maine on September 14, 1952, son of the late Robert W. Wray and France W. Wray.
Everyone who knew him called him Bill, that is what he preferred. He was a longtime truck drive and loved it. He retired in 2019 due to his health. He was comfortable staying at home and loved seeing his grandchildren, he even made it to a few of the grandkid’s games, even though it was difficult. One thing we can all admit is that Bill was a joker.
Bill is survived by his wife Donna Gagne-Wray, two stepchildren, Gina Gagne and
Ryan Gagne and Ryans wife, Lorilyn Gagne. He is also survived by his 2 sisters, Susan Wray-Estes of Raymond, New Hampshire and Janet Wray-Sullivan of Danville, New Hampshire, two nieces, Teshas Estes and Michelle Boutat. Sister-in-law, Laurie Gill and her husband, Chris Gill, Debbie Newell and brother-in-law, Michael Newell. He had six grandchildren, Jacob, Aiden, Kamryn, Jade, Abby and Dustie. He was loved by so many.
Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 12:00 pm at his home, 42 Wood Rd. Gorham, ME.
