Ann McDonald Deese, 76, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, July 25, 2024, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Steve Hand officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
Mrs. Deese was born January 17, 1948, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Paul Angus & Doris Baccus McDonald. Mrs. Deese retired from DFACS as a bookkeeper. She was a loving wife and mother and she loved to bake and cook. Mrs. Deese loved doing for others and she was a faithful member of Pine Level Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Robert Monroe Deese, Jr. & Wendy of Glen Saint Mary, Florida; a daughter, Cynthia Joanne Deese Bryan of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren: Lane Deese and Riley Katsikas; a brother, Paul McDonald, Jr. & Charlotte of Kentucky; and two sisters: Virginia Nall & James of Lilburn and Marilyn Gibbons & Steve of Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Deese and a grandson, Forrest Hutto.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
