GILFORD ---- Janet Ellen Rigney, 93, of Gilford, NH, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, peacefully in her sleep at Forest View Manor in Meredith, NH.
Janet was born on January 7, 1931, to Wallace and Jennie (Sirois) Crooker in Orange, NJ.
Janet enjoyed painting with water colors and spending time in her garden. She also loved animals of all kinds.
She was predeceased by her parents Wallace and Jennie Crooker, her husband John J. Rigney, her daughter Diane C. Labrie and her sister in- law Mary St. Jean. She is survived by her granddaughter Teagan Labrie, her daughter Janine Rigney and Janine’s husband Blaine Leclerc.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service for Janet and her daughter Diane will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 11:30 am, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Manchester, NH.
