Bobby Junior Plair, 61, of Tifton passed away Friday, April 26, 2002, at his residence. His funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2002, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Lowell Brock officiating. Mr. Plair was laid to rest at a later date.
Born August 9, 1940, in Turner County, Mr. Plair was the son of Nellie Smith Plair of Tifton and the late Sam Thomas Plair. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one son, Jamie Plair; and one brother, Carol Plair. He was a cutter in the garment industry; and he was of the Pentecostal faith.
Mr. Plair is survived by his companion, Alice Brantley of Tifton; three daughters, Sharon Marie Perry, Sue A. Rock and Patty H. Plair, all of Ohio; four brothers, Thomas Plair of Enigma and Charles Plair, Monroe Plair and Lee Plair, all of Tifton; and two sisters, Martha Wood of Tifton and Barbara Dorden of Worth County
