Annie Percilla Powell Parrish, 90, of Tifton passed away Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Tift Health Care. Her funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2002, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Ronny Vice officiating. Mrs. Parrish was laid to rest at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2002, at New Home Cemetery in Samson, Alabama.
born August 30, 1912, in Geneva County, Alabama, Mrs. Parrish was the daughter of the late Angus Powell and Mollie Danley Powell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ima Leo Parrish; five brothers; and one sister. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Westside Assembly of God in Samson, Alabama.
Mrs. Parrish is survived by three sons, Edwin E. Parrish of Thomasville, and Albert W. Parrish and Frank Parrish, both of Augusta; one daughter, Willa Dean Johnson of Tifton; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
