Christopher L. Dubuc, 54, of Derry, NH passed away peacefully on July 23, 2024 at Parkland Medical Center. Chris was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on August 20, 1969 and grew up in Windham, NH. He met his wife, Catherine, on Cobbetts Pond in 1989 and she quickly moved up to New Hampshire from Florida to begin their life together. In April of 1990, Chris moved to Derry with Cathy and has been a native ever since.
Chris began his high school career at Pinkerton Academy, then later received his diploma from Salem High School in 1992. He went right from school to working as an auto mechanic, learning all of his skills and mastered the craft on the job. He was extremely passionate about his work and was never shy to explain anything car related to anyone willing to listen. Chris was most recently a master mechanic at Auto Care Plus in Derry. Chris was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed something fixed. He was also well versed in electrical, woodworking, carpentry, and plumbing just to name a few.
Chris became a husband in 1993, a Dad in December of 1996 and again in May of 2001. He was over the moon to have his two daughters and wife, completing the family of four. He enjoyed making pancakes every Sunday morning for his family, fishing, playing corn hole, playing video games together, watching the history channel and crime tv shows, and working on household projects. Chris was a man of little words, but he loved so deeply.
Chris was predeceased by his parents Leo Dubuc and Lucia (Silva) Dubuc. Chris is survived by his wife, Catherine Dubuc; his daughter Lauren Graham and her husband Jeffrey, and his daughter Abigail Dubuc. He is also survived by his siblings, Anita Kelley, David Dubuc, Christine Dubuc, Leo Dubuc and his wife Celeste; three nephews, Justin Binette and his wife Rebecca, Christian Evinson and his fiancé Janelle, and Killian Evinson; three nieces Christine McCarthy and her husband John, Constance McCarthy and her husband Tyler, and Renee Dubuc.
Following cremation, the family will greet friends on Monday, July 29th from 9:30 - 10:00am in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:00am. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium are assisting the family with arrangements.
