Wayne P.C. Morgan, 68, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away on July 17 at Tufts Medical Center after an unexpected medical condition.
Wayne was born on September 10, 1955 in Potomac, Maryland, son of the late Walter Morgan and the late Marjorie Sauer Morgan. He went on to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston after which he went on to pursue a career as a professional musician, playing guitar in bands such as Storm, Boy Next Door, The End Result and Morgan’s Marauders where he also sang and played the harmonica. Although music was his life’s passion, he also had a successful career in graphic design and with his own company, Morganic Studios. Eventually, Wayne went into business with his late wife Diane, supporting her artistic endeavors with Morgan Mailboxes and More.
Wayne was a larger than life personality who was friendly with everyone, boisterous and outgoing, and he was a joyful presence in every situation and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Kitty Burns and her husband, Dan Burns of Lunenburg, his 3 grandchildren, Cambria, Ember, and Lincoln. He also leaves behind his beloved partner of the past 8 years, Mary Clement of Tewksbury, her daughter Jennifer, husband Steve, and granddaughter Marie who welcomed him into their family with open arms.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Ward Morgan, who passed away in 2023.
