Constance Lee Trongo, 80, of Londonderry, NH passed away Monday July 22, 2024, after a brief illness. Connie was born January 7, 1944 in Greensburg, PA and was the second daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Kalisz) Perhac.
Connie married the love of her life, Pasquale “Pat” Trongo, Jr., in 1967 and they began their married life in Massachusetts. They also lived in Maine during the first ten years, and then settled in Shelburne, VT to raise their family. After their daughters, Jill and Barbara, were married and raising their families in NH, Connie and Pat relocated to Londonderry to be near their children and grandchildren.
Connie’s family meant everything to her, and included her two daughters and their husbands, Jill (Alan) Duhaime and Barbara (Matthew) Bergeron, five grandchildren, Jason and Shannon Duhaime, Anna, Mary and Molly Bergeron, and one surviving sister, Joyce Eicher.
Connie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Pat, in 2016. She was also predeceased by her brother, Joseph Perhac, and three sisters, Barbara Babich, Judy Palenchar and Jeanne Frank.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday July 29, 2024 from 4 to 7pm at the Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 1 South Road, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, Connie’s family requests that donations be made to Families in Transition, 122 Market Street, Manchester, NH 03101. A NH-based charity.
