Limington- Brandon K. Libby, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on July 21st, 2024.
Brandon was born in Portland on May 15th, 1998.
He attended multiple schools throughout his younger years, until he planted his roots in Limington and finished his schooling at Bonny Eagle High School. During those years he enrolled in the ROTC program and flourished, learning structure and discipline.
Soon after school he had a beautiful daughter that drove his will to better his mechanical career. Starting out in small engines at a couple of different local shops, that led him to his career at Patriot Subaru in Saco.
He was passionate about learning new things, which led him to the world of firearms. He taught himself how to properly handle each one that he came into contact with. How to break them down, how to clean them properly, even down to how each piece functioned and made it work. Along with his passion for firearms, he enjoyed gaming and even built his own computer. From the shell down to doing the programming.
Brandon was always up for hanging out with friends and family, or going on an adventure. Even if the adventure had no destination. He made new friends with ease. His goofy demeanor and “need to please”, would always draw you in. He was a one of a kind, give you the shirt off his back with no questions asked, kind of guy.
His daughter, Rose, was his pride and joy. He got up and bettered himself every day because of her. He strived to do anything in his power to give her the life that he never had as a younger boy. He created structure and discipline, all while making sure he was her best friend.
He had himself listed as an organ donor and was able to help save the lives of 5 individuals. His heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys were distributed to those in need of them. Even with him gone, he continues to help wherever he could.
Brandon is survived by his daughter- Rose George; his Uncle- Michael George and his Aunt- Erin George out of Limington, which Brandon saw as Mom and Dad for over the last 12 years; along with many other family members.
There will be a private graveside burial,
And a celebration of life to honor Brandon will be held. Date and time are to be determined.
