Anne Quintal (54) of Fall River passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Fall River Healthcare.
Anne is predeceased in life by her father, Dennis Quintal.
Anne is survived by her mother Eliza quintal, her daughter Melinda Dunn, grandchild Abelia Dunn, grandchild Alex Dunn, niece Sierra liberty, niece Amber Araujo, and many other beloved nieces and nephews, her sister Linda liberty and 5 additional siblings, one sister and four brothers.
Anne was a huge animal lover. She had many pet cats over the years. She respected even the tiniest bug, always wanting to help, not hurt. She had a “grand puppy” named Jack that brought her a lot of happiness.
Her life from childhood was full of obstacles but she was amazing at facing them and persevering. She never let her trauma harden her.
Anne started as a hairdresser before she decided to go to college and became a preschool teacher. She was a natural with children always. While raising her daughter she went on every field trip, she was her daughter’s daisy, brownie and Girl Scout troop leader every year.
Her grandchildren were very important to her. She loved them ferociously. She was an involved grandparent, as much as she could be even with her disability. She would have done anything for them.
Anne smiled constantly. She was chatty and friendly with everyone. She couldn’t go anywhere without her sparking up a conversation with one person or several.
She wanted people to be kind and love each other. If you knew her, you knew kindness and love.
