Loretta B. Cousins, 86, of North Providence, passed away on Monday, July 22nd in the Golden Crest Nursing Center, North Providence, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late David C. Cousins. They had been married for 43 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Pasqualina (Albanese) DiStefano. She had lived in North Providence previously living in Riverside for 44 years.
Loretta was an Avon Lady for 17 years. She loved to do crossword puzzles and enjoyed crocheting.
She leaves her children, Caroline King and her husband Jason of Greenville and Darren Cousins, proprietor of DC Automotive, of Cranston. She also leaves her grandson, Dylan King (her pumpkin) of Greenville. She was the sister of Evelyn Santopadre of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Laura Bassett, Anna DelSanto, and Domenica “Peachy” Cabral.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday July 25th at 12noon in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be in Highland Park, Johnston.
