Nicholas A. Martinelli, age 66, passed away on July 18th, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on August 24, 1957 in Schenectady, NY, son of the late Albert and Helen Martinelli. Nicholas worked as a professional glazer for Sam’s Glassworks for many years before he retired. He enjoyed fishing, listening to Classic Rock music, Classic muscle cars and Harley Motorcycles. He had a love for fast food, faster cars and bikes. He is predeceased by his daughter Nicole Martinelli. He is survived by three sons, Jason Martinelli and his wife Stephanie of Chicopee, Joseph Martinelli and his wife Marangely of Springfield and Carl Martinelli of Palmer; his daughter, Jessica Mace of NY; three sisters, Maria Greenewald and her husband Alfred of NY, Susan Pieniazek and her husband Andy of NY and Lisa Miller and her husband David of NY; his chosen family, Joshua Pittello of Chicopee and his beloved K9 Companion Cyris. He also leaves many extended family members and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 2nd, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at a later date.
