WEBSTER – Rosemarie (Ginisi) Geary, 63, died Sunday, July 21, 2024 at home with her family at her side.
She leaves her husband of 35 years, Stephen W. Geary; a son, Zachary L. Geary and his wife Kristine and a daughter, Samantha E. Geary, all of Webster; nieces and nephews especially Aileecia Geary who was like a daughter to her. She also leaves her beloved Cavachon Oliver. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Ginisi.
She was born in Worcester on January 26, 1961, the daughter of Salvatore A. and Beatrice M. (Docimo) Ginisi. She graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade School in 1980 and in her 50’s Mrs. Geary returned to school to earn her bachelor’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Becker Junior College.
Mrs. Geary first worked as a teacher’s aide in Worcester elementary schools and was currently a trainer in safety for the Seven Hills Foundation.
She enjoyed watching soap operas, especially “General Hospital.” She was also a Patriots and Bruins fan and loved talking to people.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster. Donations in her name may be made to the Seven Hills Foundation, 81 Hope Ave., Worcester, MA 01603.
