Diane L. Johnson, 78, of Londonderry, NH died Saturday July 20, 2024, at the Southern NH Medical Center, Nashua, NH. Diane was born in Providence, RI on May 13, 1946, a daughter of Wilber and Barbara (Kiley) Bridge. She was raised and educated in N. Reading, MA, and had resided in Londonderry for the past 50 years, formerly living in Andover, MA.
Diane loved to sew, quilt, and knit. She also loved the beach and to travel. She enjoyed watching the hummingbirds outside her porch window and she truly made the best macaroni and cheese and brownies.
Most of all Diane was a devoted wife, mother, Grammy, daughter, sister, and friend. She always put her family first and would go above and beyond to make sure everyone’s needs were met, over her own. Diane was a ray of sunshine and will be remembered fondly by many.
She is survived by her two sons, David W. Johnson and his wife Lynne of Londonderry, and Brian G. Johnson and his wife Claudine of Londonderry, three grandchildren, Andrew, Caitlyn and Ryan, her half-brother, Robert Macomber and his wife Joyce of Maine, her half-sister, Carolyn Smith of Rhode Island, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Frederick C. Johnson III on March 15, 2024.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday July 25, 2024, from 4 – 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Private burial will be held in Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry.
