Roger W. Raymond, age 78 passed away on July 14, 2024 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, MA after spending his last earthly day surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Simeon Raymond and Julienne (Daigle) Raymond. He worked for Chicopee School Department for many years before he retired. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Suzanne R. (Lacroix) Raymond of Chicopee; 3 daughters, Melissa Raymond of Chicopee, Sara DeMaria and her husband Scott of Belchertown and Laura Laliberte and her husband Joshua of Chicopee; two brothers, Norman Raymond of CT and Simeon Raymond Jr of Maine; two sisters, Peggy Raymond of Maine, Betty Raymond of Maine; and five beloved grandchildren: Taylor Raymond, Nolan and Gracyn Purcell, Esme DeMaria and Avery Laliberte. As well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends as well as his fur baby Bella. He is predeceased by his brother Bertrand Raymond and his sister Frances Anderson. Any one who met Roger may have started out as a stranger, but always walked away as a friend. He always had a joke and a helping hand for anyone in need and there was nothing he loved more in this world than his family. He was deeply loved and will be eternally missed.
