Clara M. (Rado) Prince, age 91, passed away on July 16, 2024 at Bear Mountain, West Springfield. She was born on October 12, 1932 in Springfield, daughter of the late Edward and Blanche (Brezniak) Rado. Clara was a graduate of Commerce High School. She worked as the Vice President of Human Resources for Baybank/Valley Bank for many years before she retired. To know Clara was to experience her pleasant smile and warm friendship. She loved meeting new people and always treated others with respect and kindness while exchanging life experiences. Her love for the dance floor and the many trips she took with friends and various groups brought her much happiness. But the love of her family always came first. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph F. Prince Sr. who passed away in 2000; her son Joseph Prince Jr and three brothers, John, Charles and Edward Rado; one brother-in-law Kenneth Dulude. She is survived by her son Richard A. Prince of Westfield; three daughters, Karen A. Bedore and her husband Les of Conway, SC; Cynthia L. Boyle and her companion Doug Rondeau of Chicopee and Debra J. LeMay and her husband Chuck of Chicopee; one brother Richard Rado and his wife Florence of Lake Havasu City, AZ; two sisters, Alice Dulude of Huntington; Margie Duclos and her husband of Melbourne, FL; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also is survived by two sisters-in-law, Erika Desautels of Ludlow and Cay Rado of Lake Wales, FL; a daughter-in-law Kathy Prince of San Angelo, TX and her special friend Reggie Evans of West Springfield. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Grise Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Rose de Lima Church, Chicopee at 11:00 AM.
