Breme D. Hyde, age 79, of Mansfield, passed away comfortably at home, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn F. (McDonald) Hyde, with whom he spent fourty-four years together.
Born in Malden, MA on September 7, 1944, he was a loving son of the late Ronald B. and Mary P. (Kennedy) Hyde.
Breme grew up in Malden, Medford and Roslindale. He was a 1962 graduate of Roslindale High School and in 1969 received his bachelor of arts degree from Boston State College.
A resident of Mansfield for the past forty years, Mr. Hyde’s working career was spent as a Musician, a Real Estate Appraiser and a Real Estate Broker. Breme loved spending time with family and friends and had a strong passion for music, of which he was a song writer and arranger. He also very-much loved golfing and was an antique and classic car enthusiast as well.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted son, Breme C. Hyde and his wife Joya of Hyde Park. He was the dear brother of the late Anna Schilder-King, John Hyde, Ronald Hyde and is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, July 23rd from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 24th at 11:00 A.M in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will be private.
