CORRA, Maria A. (Pedri) of West Roxbury, formerly of Revò, Italy and Fort Lee, NJ passed away on July 14, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Costantino Corra. Devoted mother of Elisa Corra of West Roxbury and Thomas Corra and his wife Dara Concagh of West Roxbury. Dear sister of Carmen Fedrigoni of Canada and Joseph Pedri of NY and the late Giovanni Pedri, Catina Rigatti, Lenota Martini, Celestino Pedri, and Candido Pedri. Loving Nonna of Michael, Kasey, Tommy, and Adelina Corra all of West Roxbury. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Maria emigrated to New York City in 1963, moving to New Jersey in 1967, and following her children to Boston in 2000. Her talents as a seamstress and Italian chef benefitted many, as did her many prayers and devotions to St. John Bosco and St. Dominic Savio. Throughout her 54 years of marriage and 90 years of life, she valued family, faith, and friends.
Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Saturday, July 20th at 10:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St., West Roxbury at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday, July 19th from 4pm to 8pm in the Funeral Home.
