Betty Jane Roberts (Saffri) passed away July 15, 2024 at Mystic Healthcare.
She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years Earl (Robbie) Roberts who passed in 2019.
Betty was born May 31,1941, the daughter of the late Kurt and Dorothy Saffri of Philadelphia, PA. She graduated in 1959 from St. Hubert’s Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia.
She met Earl in Philadelphia in 1957, and they married May 12, 1962 at St. Timothy’s Church. They started their family while in Philadelphia and then the Navy sent them to Connecticut, settling in Oakdale in 1966.
Betty was a devoted mother and Meme to her family. She worked as a School lunch monitor, Crossing Guard, RGIS inventory and Henny Penny where she was managing the Salem Store before her retirement in 2002.
Betty and Earl moved to Brooksville, Fl in 2004 where she participated in Crime Watch and the Hernando County Fire Corps.
Betty enjoyed camping, Nascar, Bunco, and some traveling all over the country by car and by cruising.

We would like to thank Mystic Healthcare and Beacon Hospice for the support they gave to Mom.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 17, from 6pm to 8pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 32 East Main Street, Mystic on Thursday, July 18, at 10:00am.
Internment will be at The State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT on Friday, July 19, at 2:00pm.
