Paul Joseph Smith, 67, of Derry, NH passed away Friday July 12, 2024, at his residence. Paul was born March 25,1957 in Peabody, MA and was a son of Charlene (Julien) Smith and the late Joseph Warren Smith. He was raised and educated in Lynnfield, MA and graduated from Lynnfield High School. Paul had been a 35+ year resident of Derry.
Paul was a Radio System Technician for 25+ years with Central Communication Corp. He loved to build and operate all kinds of radio equipment, from Ham to CB. Paul was an outdoorsman and loved to go camping, fishing and boating. Paul also enjoyed auto racing and was the “World’s biggest Patriots fan”.
In addition to his mother, members of the family include two sons Daniel Smith and Matthew Smith, a step-son James Breslin, a brother Michael Smith and his wife Candida, two sisters Diane Glenn and Sandra Smith, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his dear friend Angela. Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife Donna, and a brother-in-law Allen Glenn.
After cremation, the family is planning private services.
