Vivian Imogene Remington

Vivian Imogene "Jean" (Hopper) Remington, 96, of Chesterfield went to be with the Lord peacefully at her residence on July 12, 2024.
She was born June 13, 1928 in Cullom, Illinois, the daughter of Lloyd and Flora (Hayes) Hopper. She worked production 42 years at Delco Remy Division of General Motors before retiring in 1987.
She is survived by her three children, Ronald E. (Lori) Rouse of Hardinsburg, IN; Vicki (James) Hensley of Alexandria and Jeffrey (Lori) Remington of Chesterfield; six grandchildren, Zachary (Cheyenne) Remington, Jay (Kaitlin) Remington, Bradley (BeJay) Rouse, Angie (Joseph) Rodriguez, Prima Hensley and Jimmy Hensley; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Levi Remington; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roland Remington; her grandsons Richard Ty Hensley and Andrew Remington and several siblings.
Entombment service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Paul Storm of Redeemer Baptist Church officiating.
