Ann M. Heery, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 69. She was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Phyllis (Knapp) Heery and a cherished sister to Kathleen Heery of Easton, Mary Jane Pezzano of Brockton and Paul Heery of Whitman. Ann was the loving aunt of Kimberly, Michael and Thomas Pezzano and Alexandra Heery.
Ann leaves a legacy of love and care cherished by her three siblings and four nieces and nephews. Her family remembers her as the heart of gatherings, where her spirit and ongoing support created cherished memories for all.
Ann dedicated her career to nursing where her nurturing spirit touched countless lives. Beyond her professional life, Ann's creativity thrived in her domestic pursuits. She was an avid crafter, renowned for her skillful hands and imaginative projects that filled her home with warmth and beauty. Her love extended beyond crafting to her dogs, who were always by her side. Ann's departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, and her spirit lives on in the memories and lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts (apcsm.org), reflecting Ann's generous spirit and her love of animals.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West Street, Brockton with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
