DUDLEY – Mederic L. “Med” Harnois II, 43, died Tuesday, July 9 in UMass Memorial Harrington-Webster Campus after being stricken ill at home.
He leaves his wife of 18 years, Nancy V. (Craver) Harnois; 2 sons, Mederic L. Harnois III and Elliott L. Harnois, both at home; his parents, Mederic L. and Kerry L. (Mason) Harnois of Oxford; a brother, Jason A. Harnois and his wife Francesca of Woodstock, CT; a sister, Amanda P. Harris of Los Angeles, CA; his parents-in-law, Elliott Bates and Cheryl V. (Hatfield) Craver of North Grosvenordale, CT; his brothers-in-law, Shawn P. Craver of Vernon, CT, and Kevin S. Rogers and his wife Laura of Freedom, ME; a sister-in-law, Sherri Naeser of Willington, CT; 5 nephews and nieces, Connor, Madyson, Meadow, Logan and Jacob; uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was born on July 22, 1980 in Putnam, CT and was raised in Thompson. He graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in North Grosvenordale in 1998 and then studied business and communications at Quinebaug Valley Community College. He lived in Dudley for the last 12 years.
Mr. Harnois was an account manager of inside sales and renewals for Dell Technologies in Hopkinton.
He enjoyed golfing, time spent in the mountains, family time at Webster Lake and vacations with the Martinez Family. He was dedicated to his family and friends.
Calling hours will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, July 14 in the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster, with a service at 5:30 PM with Pastor Steve Poudrette officiating.
