Obituary

Tripp, Carl F. “Buster” 76 years old from Natick, MA formerly Wellesley, MA passed away at home on Saturday June 29, 2024.

Predeceased by his parents Carl F. and Marjorie J. (Conley) Tripp of NC. Also, his brother Mark Tripp of MA.

Carl was born in Boston and grew up in Wellesley. He was an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Wellesley High school in 1965. Then he joined the Naval Air Force. After he served in the military he became a Wellesley firefighter.

Later he changed careers and became a master mechanic because of the love that he had for cars. He raced a car that he had built, winning many trophies. Also, one of his many corvette's won poster car for the 1994 Corvette Club of Ontario. He always had a beautiful car or motorcycle.

He was a passionate Buddhist since 1999. As a retired veteran, Carl enjoyed Tai chi, martial arts, reading, crystal/gemstone shopping, and especially car shopping. He watched Gunsmoke everyday & loved to watch golf. He was a lifelong member of the Amvets and American Legion. He had a gift to gab and he loved animals.

Carl is survived by 3 children. His daughter Dawn Tripp of RI and her two children, Adam Drainville and Brian Drainville. His daughter Julie Mulry and her 2 children, John Ahuamda & Victoria Mulry. His son Patrick Mckenna of MD. Four sisters, Carol Martens and her spouse Westley, Cathy Ice and her spouse Harold, Marcia Weeks, and Marie Russel. A godchild Michelle Murphy and her spouse Donnie. His ex-wife Corinne Tripp and many nieces, nephews and friends. He’ll be sorely missed by many.

All are invited to attend his graveside burial at the Highland Cemetery, 2 Dedham Street, Dover, MA at 11AM on Saturday, June 13th. In leu of flowers donations can be made in his memory, to a local animal shelter or a mental health foundation.
