Kenneth W. Hadley, 66

Dateline: Norton, MA

Kenneth W. Hadley, age 66, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 10, 2024. He was the husband of Debra A. (Fillion) Hadley.

Born in Boston, MA on October 17, 1957, he was a loving son of the late William, Jr. and Ruby (Leacok) Hadley.

Kenny grew up in town, was a graduate of Norton High School and attended music school. Known for his strong work ethics, He was employed as a steel worker for the Space Metal Building Company in East Taunton.

A well-known face in the Norton Community, Kenny treasured the times spent with family and his many-many cherished friends. He could light up a room with his mere presence, contagious laughter and good spirit. Kenney was a true car enthusiast, Cadillac’s being his favorite ride. He also enjoyed cutting firewood and playing pool.

Kenny will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him, but the memories he created in life will live on in their minds and hearts forever.

In addition to his wife, he was the much-loved cousin of William A. Alston of New Jersey, Marcia (Alston) Perry of Brockton, Judith (Alston) Wright of Brockton, Denise Alston of Maryland and Gertrude (Hadley) Markl of Florida. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and a host of devoted friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours Saturday, July 20th from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

In place of flowers, Kenneth’s family would prefer that donations in his memory be made to Nine Lives of Norton Feline Rescue Shelter, Inc., P.O. Box 548, Norton, MA 02766 or Norton Veterans Services, 70 East Main Street, Norton, MA 02766.
