Danny Waldo Howell, 83, of Enigma, Georgia, died Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church, in Irwin County, Georgia, with Elder Marvin Paulk and the Rev. Joe Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the Brushy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Howell was born December 13, 1940, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Dan Thomas & Sara Tucker Howell. He retired from Delphi in Fitzgerald and was a farmer. Mr. Howell was a member of Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Barfield Howell; a son, Shane Howell & Sherry of Ocilla; a daughter, Paige Harper & Dave, Jr. of Alapaha; four grandchildren: Kaysie Tucker & Michael, Haley Harper, Chasidy Wood & Keith, and Lacy Howell; four great-grandchildren: Micah Tucker, Maebry Tucker, John Clayton Relihan and Weston Relihan, and their father, Jake Relihan; step great-grandchildren: Brodie Wood and Grayson Wood; and two sisters: Barbara Gill and Gina Paulk & Billy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Evelyn Sims and his first wife, Sue Ellen Howell.
Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, is in charge of arrangements.
