Ausma Kadikis 93 of East Walpole passed away on 6/23/24
Ausma was born in Tukums Latvia and was predeceased by daughters Sylvia and Sandra and her husband Arturs. She was survived by her son Karl Kadikis and his wife Cindy along with their two sons, Erik and Adam of Vernon Connecticut. She is also survived by son-in-law Karl Bangerskis, granddaughters Laura and Monika of East Walpole. Monika and husband Aidan with great granddaughter Penelope, who also reside in East Walpole.
Ausma was an avid gardener with a passion for flowers and enjoyed family events during the holidays. She also had a long career working as scientist in the textile industry, where she became an established expert, authoring multiple research papers. Most of her career was with Albany International, a recognized textile corporation, yet was also involved in consulting work.
Ausma was also a very caring and giving mother and was always there for someone in need. She corresponded frequently with relatives, keeping the family connected. She lived most of her adult life in Dedham, and then spent her senior years living in east Walpole with her daughter Sandy and son-in-law Karl.
A private ceremony will be held in the fall for Ausma at the Gardens at Gethsemane in West Roxbury, MA.
