Glenn Martin Conlon of Walpole, formerly of Dedham, beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, at the age of 61. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and treasured memories.
Born on January 8, 1963, Glenn was the cherished husband of Kera Conlon and a devoted father to Liam, Wynter, and Kyle who brought the most joy and pride to his life. He was the loving son of Maisie Conlon and the late Robert Conlon of Dedham, brother of Kevin Conlon and wife Patricia of Dedham, Brian Conlon and wife Susan of Middleboro, Sean Conlon and wife Paula of Cataumet, Robert Conlon and wife Elizabeth of Bridgewater, sister Kathleen Conlon and fiancée Michael Tracy of Norwood, and cousin of Scott Poulter of Jamaica Plain. He was also a treasured friend and uncle to many.
Glenn graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood and earned a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University where he was captain of the soccer team. He went on to earn his MBA from Northeastern University. Glenn had a life-long love of soccer and a passion for boating on Cape Cod. Professionally, he enjoyed a successful career at Sunlife Financial, John Hancock and Athenahealth where his diligence and expertise in management earned him respect throughout his career.
Those who knew Glenn remember him for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his unwavering dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St., Dedham on July 26 at 10:30am and a celebration of life will immediately follow at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro. All friends and family are invited. Donations can be made to The Dr. Ruth McLain Hospice House in Braintree.
Glenn will be forever remembered for his mission to assist others in their time of need, for bringing his family together, and the impact he made on the lives of those around him.
