Obituary

Pauline “Bunty” Davis, age 95, of Medford passed away on Saturday, July 6th. Raised and educated in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. Lenox, Sr. and Jane (Brennan) Lenox. After graduating from Medford High School, Pauline lived in California until 1971, when she returned to the East Coast and settled in Burlington, MA. After retiring from Computervision, she returned to Medford.

Pauline’s life was centered on her faith and her family. She was very involved with parish life, teaching and directing CCD programs and serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of Medford Catholic Women’s Club. Her greatest joy was time with family; her siblings, her children and her grandchildren. Pauline loved to laugh, tell stories, shop and travel.

Pauline was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. Davis, and the devoted mother of Bernadette "Nan" Miller (James) of Tacoma, WA, Matthew Davis (Christine) of Falmouth, MA, Therese Davis of Derry, NH, and Damien Davis (Lisa) of Nashua, NH. She was the loving grandmother of Elizabeth Safsten (Jeffrey) of Olalla, WA, Richard Miller (Melaina) of Gig Harbor, WA, Stephanie Andrade (Kristian) of Falmouth, MA, Danielle Davis of Hollis, NH, Robert Abbott (Julie) of Chester, NH, Christopher Abbott (Lauren) of Nottingham, NH, Gabrielle Abbott (Isaias) of Providence, RI, Brandon Davis of Quincy, MA, Jordan Davis (Mackenzie) of Norwood, MA, and Cameron Davis of Cumberland, RI. Pauline was the cherished great grandmother of Olivia, Marina, Halle, Caelyn, Jillian, Aubrey, Hailey, Connor and Declan, and dear sister of Peter Lenox (Late Rita) of Medford. She was predeceased by her siblings Janet Granara, Joseph Lenox, Jr., Veronica Cotariu, Helen McGlynn and Theresa Keith, and is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pauline’s family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to her daughter,Therese, for her years of caring for Mom. She was happy and loved and could not have had better care.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, July 12th from 4 through 8 PM, and again on Saturday, July 13th at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private.
