Hector Luis Perez of Dorchester, formerly of Villalba, Puerto Rico, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the age of 64 years old. Hector also known as “Otel” as well as “Mr. Perfect” was a father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. Otel was loving, caring, cheerful, and full of joy and laughter. Anyone who came across Otel fell in love with his infectious jokester personality. Always the life of the party, he was known for his dance moves and playing the guitar. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Angelita Torres Perez & Wilfrido Perez. He leaves behind his one and only daughter, Carmen Perez, also known as Moya, his son-in-law Angel Rivera, also known as Pote, six grandchildren (Xavi, Nene, Malia, Ari, Angel (Chacho), Emmanuel (El Chacharin), and two great-grandchildren (his “Rubio” Xavian and his baby brother on the way). He also leaves behind his partner of over 12 years, Sandra Garcia, three brothers, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He leaves us with great memories and a love we will forever cherish. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Thursday July 11 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. His family will gather again at the funeral home on Friday July 12 from 1:30 - 2:30 PM before traveling to Oak Lawn Cemetery for interment services.

Héctor también conocido como “Otel” y “Mr. Perfect”, fue padre, hermano, abuelo, bisabuelo, tío y amigo de muchos. Otel era cariñoso, atento, alegre y estaba lleno de alegría y risas. Cualquiera que se cruzara con Otel se enamoraba de su contagiosa personalidad de bromista. Siempre el alma de la fiesta, era conocido por sus movimientos de baile y por tocar la guitarra. Le precedieron en la muerte su madre y su padre, Angelita Torres Pérez y Wilfrido Pérez. Deja atrás a su única hija, Carmen Pérez, también conocida como Moya, su yerno Ángel Rivera, también conocido como Pote, seis nietos (Xavi, Nene, Malia, Ari, Ángel (Chacho), Emmanuel (El Chacharin), y dos bisnietos (su “Rubio” Xavian y su hermanito en camino). También deja atrás a su compañera de más de 12 años, Sandra García, tres hermanos, dos hermanas y muchos sobrinos y sobrinas. Nos deja grandes recuerdos y un amor que apreciaremos por siempre. El horario de visita en Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Frente a la estación Forest Hills MBTA) Jamaica Plain será el Jueves 11 de Julio de 2024, de 5:00 pm. - 8:00 pm. Se invita respetuosamente a familiares y amigos asistir. Su familia se reunirá nuevamente en la funeraria el Viernes, 12 de Julio de 1:30 pm. - 2:30 pm. antes de dirigirse al Cementerio Oak Lawn para los servicios de entierro.
