Shawn Roberts (55) of New Bedford passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 06, 2024, at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center in Fall River.
Shawn was the son of the Martin & the late Eileen (Arruda) Roberts
Shawn leaves a legacy of love, memories, and good times with his brothers Brian Roberts and Christian Roberts, his three sisters, Ronnie Caton, Sarah Caton, and Erin Caton, and John Douglas, all of New Bedford. He was predeceased by his late brother Zachary Caton of New Bedford. His life will love on through Kayli, Joseph, Darien, Eliana, Ari, and Jeremyah, one great nephew Theo, two great nieces, Rhea and Alessia all of New Bedford.
Shawn was known for many things, but his strongest accolades were being the Father Figure to his sisters, being their protector, champion, and best friend. Shawn was a man that valued family above all else, he loved video games, basketball, and concerts, he was a die-hard New England Sports Fan, a true rock and roll fan with his favorite group being Judas Priest, which was one of his favorite concerts he had ever attended! He was a very go easy go lucky kind of guy who enjoyed nothing more then having friends and family together, especially around the holidays in which he spoiled his loved ones, but he could always be heard any family event saying, “where is the suppah” or saying to his niece and nephews “who wants a knuckle sandwich?” His warmth, energy, and love will be forever missed by all those around him.
