Joseph V. Quinn, 81, of Colfax Street, Providence, died Friday, July 5, 2024 at Briarcliff Manor in Johnston. He was the son of the late Joseph H. and Grace (Dowson) Quinn. He was born in Providence, RI.
Joe had lived in Providence for many years. He had worked in Shipping and Receiving for Amhurst Company for over 50 years before retiring.
Joe was an avid train collector and was also a member of the St. Raymond Church Choir.
Joe is survived by his brother, Robert Quinn of Providence and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many extended family members.
He was the brother of the late Rev. Charles Quinn, John Quinn, Grace Greene and Catherine Befort.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 10 am in St. Raymond’s Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, 2024 5-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
