Obituary

Maureen A. Milne, a life-long resident of Andover, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Friday evening, July 5, 2024. She was 87 years old.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on June 29, 1937, she was the beloved daughter of the late Walter D. and Rosemary (Doyle) Milne. Maureen was retired from a job that she loved at Textron where she had been employed as a Pricing Estimator, for many years.

Maureen was the caretaker for her aging parents. She was a longtime communicant of St. Augustine Church in Andover. Maureen loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed. Maureen’s family would like to thank her caregivers at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home and all of her Cuba Street neighbors who helped her along the way.

Maureen is survived by her loving siblings; John 'Jack' and his wife Sally Milne of Naples, Florida and George and his wife Cynthia Milne of Andover and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Rosalie M. Crowley. She also leaves her best friend, Patricia Gurry.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 4 to 6 PM. Interment will be privately held.
