BELMONT ---- Ronald K. Judkins, 66, of Union Road, moved on to the high life on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
Ronald was born on May 20, 1958, in Franklin, the son of Nheum and Blanche (Smith) Judkins.
As a young man, he spent time raising hell and partying with his partner in crime, Greg Sargent (Grog), in Franklin and Hill. In his twenties, he moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, to live out the plot of ‘Roadhouse’ and practice martial arts and knife throwing. Around his family and friends, he was a goofy kid at heart, though many people thought he was serious and quiet. He was an avid concert goer, music lover and collector of “good little coolers”, speakers and “road hats”. A hunting enthusiast and outdoorsman, he enjoyed shooting, fishing and talking about guns. He loved his family, telling stories (over and over), camping, The White Mountain Boogie and Blues, safety meetings and Tiki nights with his best friend, Melon.
Ron is survived by his closest friend and wife Missy Defosses, daughters Skyler Judkins and her partner Stephen Cowie and Ashley Defosses and her partner Leo Pena, son John Hobson and five grandchildren, Harper, Lena, Sara, Tammy and Skyler, two great-grandchildren Lydia and Adalynn, brother Michael Judkins and sister Louise Sargent and many friends. In addition to his parents, Ron is predeceased by his son, Shane LaBranche and siblings, David Judkins, Dorothy Rice, Marilyn Worcester, Dale Judkins and Patty Jipson.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Laconia VFW Post 1670, 143 Court Street, on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm. All friends and family are welcome to attend. If you would like to bring a dish, it would be greatly appreciated.
