Obituary

WEBSTER - Deborah J. O’Malley, 59 , passed away unexpectedly at UMass/Memorial Health – Harrington on Saturday, June 15, 2024.

She is survived by 3 children, Terrye A. Kurtyka of Bangor, ME, Kyle M. Beinar and his partner Erica Way of Norwood, and Christina Beinar of Webster; 4 grandchildren, Damian Quinones, Kye Kurtyka, Kailey Kurtyka and Kenzie Kurtyka; 2 sisters, Joanne Lafleche and her husband James of Charlton and Carol Huard of Oxford; a brother, Alan O’Malley of Glen Rock, PA; as well as nieces and nephews. She also leaves her beloved cat Panda.

She was born on May 24, 1965 in Worcester, the first child of Philip J. and Priscilla A. (Jenkner) O’Malley and grew up in Auburn. She graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in 1983. She lived in Webster for many years. Deborah pursued her passion for science and studied microbiology at Becker College.

Deborah was currently a Certified Nursing Assistant – Resident Care Companion Assistant (CNA-RCCA) at Webster Manor where she provided comfort to people in the last stages of life.

She loved cooking, gardening, watching birds, squirrels, and other wildlife, and playing games. Known for treating everyone as family, she was a caretaker to all and a reliable support to all who needed it.

A celebration of her life will be held later. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
