Ann Marie (Crowley) Coldwell, raised in Framingham and most recently a resident of Ashland and beloved wife of the late Kenneth Coldwell, feisty and spirited to the end, passed away at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Saturday, June 29, 2024, after a year-long challenge with illness. She was 70 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 14, 1954, she was the beloved daughter of the late J. Richard and Gertrude (Walsh) Crowley. Ann graduated from Framingham North High School in 1972 and Framingham State College in 1979. Ann was employed as an executive assistant to the new England district manager for the Stop and Shop Companies for many years.
Ann was dedicated to the many dogs she had over the years and enjoyed reading and spending time and traveling with several dear friends. All will miss her. Among her highest priorities was keeping up with the many activities and life changes of her many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed hearing their stories and celebrating life’s events with them.
Ann is survived by her two loving brothers, Rick Crowley (spouse Colette) of Andover and Mark Crowley (spouse Diane) of Norfolk, and, nieces and nephews Richard, Christopher, Elizabeth, Kara, Ryan, Marc and Andrea and their respective families. The family particularly wishes to recognize the support and friendship, throughout Ann’s life and especially over the recent challenging months, of her close friend Barbara Fernandez of Hampstead, New Hampshire.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, MA on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11 AM. Visitation will be held in the church prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
