Deann M. Masone-Butler, age 41, passed away peacefully on June 30th, 2024, at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA following a year-long battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of the late Anthony M. Masone Sr. and Beverly A. (Malfa) Masone of Tewksbury and the beloved wife of Justin E. Butler with whom they would have celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on July 9th, 2024.
Born on September 28th, 1982, and raised in Tewksbury MA, Deann attended the local schools there. She was a passionate and a determined woman who cared fiercely for her family and friends.
Commonly known by her nickname “Dee,” Deann was known well by her friends and family for her lively and spirited personality for fun events such as parties, concerts, sport games and even regular get-togethers. She enjoyed animals, watching the history channel and being deeply interested and focused on politics. In addition, she loved eating her mother’s home-cooked meals, watching horror movies, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
In addition to her husband and her mother, Deann is survived by her only child Kyle J. Masone of Tewksbury, as well as her three brothers: Anthony Jr. and Christine Masone of Windham, NH, Stephen and Dana Masone of Moultonborough, NH, and Marc and Joanne Masone of Newburyport MA. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as extended family members.
All are welcome to attend her calling hours on Tuesday, July 9th, from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St. Tewksbury, MA. Private interment to be held at the Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington MA.
