Judith King
Passed away on July 1, 2024, in South Boston, Massachusetts. Born on July 11, 1945, in South Boston, she was a lifelong resident of the city she loved.
Judy dedicated many years of service to Blue Cross/Blue Shield, where her commitment to her role was evident to all who worked alongside her. Outside of her professional life, Judy cherished time spent with her beloved cats and family. Her role as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother was central to her life. She found immense joy in the company of her grandchildren, Merigo Saia, Francesca Saia, and Emily Broderick, who brought great happiness to her days.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Joe King; her cherished and loved children, Michael Saia of Georgetown, TX, Julie Broderick of Marshfield, MA, Christine Bachini of Hamilton, MA and loving daughter-in-law Deniz Saia of TX. Judy was a caring, kind, loving, and supportive sister to Edward and Richard Lane, both of South Boston, and a cherished aunt to Michelle, Tom and Gianna Leone of South Boston, Eddie Lane of Halifax, David and Andrew Lane.
She was a proud aunt and godmother to Christopher Lane of South Boston.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Helena and Edward Lane. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving and caring individual who was always ready to provide support and love.
There will be a gathering at The Casper Funeral Home, located at 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston, MA 02127, on Saturday, July 6th from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Casper Funeral Home will be assisting the family during this time. Judy's life will be celebrated by those who knew and loved her, and her memory will be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
