Gail Harper, 77, of Osierfield, Georgia, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Friday, July 5, 2024, at Osierfield Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia.
Ms. Harper was born December 1, 1946, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Meeks & Della Mae Harper. After graduating high School, Ms. Harper received her medical assistant training and worked for an encyclopedia company in Atlanta, and Walmart. Ms. Harper also worked in accounting for South Georgia College. She enjoyed reading, studying her Bible and helping others. Ms. Harper was an avid animal lover.
She is survived by her siblings: June Harper Phillips of Osierfield, Glenda Harper Buchek of Osierfield, and Delphine Harper Delaneuville of Osierfield; and two brothers, Aubrey Harper of Fitzgerald and Michael Harper of Knoxville, Tennessee. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She will also be greatly missed by her two dogs, Chico and Snoopy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Harper and Albert Harper; and a sister, Joyce Harper Burley.
