Michael "Mike" R. Tatro, 69, of Spencer died on Tuesday, July 2nd at home. He leaves his mother, Suzanne (Bauer) Tatro of Spencer; two brothers, Mark Tatro and his wife, Deb of Millbury, and Robert Tatro of Auburn; a sister, Kathy Mondor and her husband, Michael of Spencer; several nieces and nephews including his Godson, Evan and loving niece, Micaela. He was predeceased by two brothers, James Tatro and Steven Tatro.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Richard and Suzanne Tatro. Mike’s career spanned across various hotels for nearly 50 years, where his professionalism and warmth endeared him to colleagues and guests alike. Born with a love for history, Mike found joy in Worcester's tales, a city close to his heart. His knowledge enriched those around him, reflecting his passion for local heritage. Traveling extensively for work, Mike cherished exploring new cities and the tranquility of the ocean. Mike's sense of humor was legendary, brightening every room he entered with his quick wit and infectious laughter. May his memory bring comfort and inspiration to those who were touched by his kindness.
His funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
