Obituary

James Kemble Nichols, 49, passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2024 in Brockton MA, surrounded by his wife and loving family. Born October 25th 1974 In Castries Saint Lucia, He was the beloved son of James Thomas Dunbar Nichols and Marie Ulinda Cyrille.

Kemble immigrated to the United States in 2015 driven by dreams of opportunity and a better life. He embraced his new home with determination and courage, building a successful career as a manager and making lasting friendships along the way. He was a devoted husband to Vicky Jean Nichols, and father to James Vy-Kem Lynden Nichols, Christian Amari Nichols, and Devine Jean and a loving brother to Jacqueline C. Cyril, Selma V.L Nichols and the Nichols Family in Saint Lucia. His kindness and sense of humor endeared him to every one he met. Kemble cherished spending time with family and friends, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

One of Kemble’s greatest passions was soccer, and he was an avid supporter of Liverpool FC and the LA Lakers. His enthusiasm for the team’s victories and unwavering loyalty to the club brought him immense joy and camaraderie with fellow fans.

Kemble is survived by his mother, wife, children, siblings and a host of relatives and friends who will carry forward his legacy of strength and resilience. Kemble’s spirit will be in the hearts of all who loved him.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Grant African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in Roxbury, MA on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00am. The service will be live streamed via Facebook and Youtube Grant AME Church Boston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
